Service Reminders are designed to remind your customers to come back when their vehicle is due for a manufacturer-recommended service.
This feature is only available for businesses that have their Shop-Ware, Mitchell Manager, R.O. Writer, or Tekmetric business system integrated with Broadly.
Enabling Service Reminders
If you're integrated with one of the business systems listed above, you will have a Reminders option in your app "Settings." This is editable for Admins and read-only for Managers.
How it Works
We look at past mileage logs for vehicles in the management system to predict future mileage.
Your customers will receive a service reminder when their predicted mileage is within 1k of a manufacturer-recommended service.
No more than five service reminders will be sent each day, to avoid overwhelming your business.
Conversation View
When an appointment reminder is sent to a contact, an activity in the conversation will be logged. The first two services will show by default, with an option to “show more” if there are more than two services.
This is the expanded version of the list, and it can be collapsed again with the “show less” link.
Customer-Facing Message
Your customer will receive a message that says:
‘Our records indicate your (2020 Toyota Prius) may be due for service. Click the link for more info, or reply to book an appointment. <link>
Reply 1 if you no longer own this vehicle.’
The link will lead to a list of services that mirrors the list in the conversation activity:

How will I know if service reminders are actually going out to my customers?
The Inbox preview says "Sent a service reminder." You can also download the admin-customer list and see the last message sent and next message columns for reference.
What kind of services will my customers be reminded of?
There is a list of all of these services in Broadly under Settings > Service Reminders. The list is not customizable.
