Adding notes to a contact will help you better remember important information about them. We suggest using this space to store information about a customer's previous visits and personal details that help you maintain a strong rapport with them.
Adding a Note
- In the Broadly App navigate to "Inbox" in the main menu.
- Select the contact that you’d like to leave a note for.
- Select the three vertical dots in the upper right of the contact page and select "Add Note". If you have trouble identifying the 3 vertical dots see our article on Editing & Deleting Contacts for an image of where to find it.
- Leave your notes in the yellow note area, then select "Save."
Editing a Note
- To edit a note, click on the note once to view it, and a second time to edit it.
- After editing your note, select "Save" to save your changes.
- If you change your mind and do not want to save your changes, you can instead select "Cancel."
Searching for a Note
- In the Broadly app navigate to "Inbox" in the main menu.
- In the search bar at the top of the contact list, you can search for keywords left in notes. For example, if you leave a note "interested in X service," once X service is available you will be able to search for "interested in X service" and all customers with that note will appear in your list.
Deleting a Note
- Edit your note and delete all of the note’s content.
- Select "Save" to save and the note will no longer be visible on the contact page.
