If you are using a landline for your business, you will have the option to connect that phone number to Broadly once the SMS registration is completed and approved.
When your landline number is connected to Broadly, customers will be able to text your business' landline phone number and their message will appear in the Broadly app. Your SMS replies will come directly from your landline phone number.
To connect your business' landline phone number to Broadly:
1) In the Broadly app, head to "Settings" > "Messaging".
2) Select the "verify your number" link:
3) The Broadly app will prompt you to request a phone call, to verify that you have access to your business landline.
4) After you request a call, the app will display a 6-digit PIN that you will need to enter on your phone's keypad.
5) Once the PIN has been received, the app will present a form, so that Broadly can send a Letter of Authorization to complete the setup.
6) Once you select the "Email me" button, check your email for a Letter of Authorization from Broadly's partner, Twilio.
7) After the Letter of Authorization has been signed, Broadly will work behind the scenes to complete the connection to your business landline. This can take up to 48 hours.
8) Once the connection to your business landline is complete, you will see this reflected in the "Phone Number" section of "Settings" > "Messaging".
