Unsubscribing Customers

If your customers do not want to receive any more review requests or campaigns there are a couple of ways they can unsubscribe.

Please note that you can unsubscribe customers within Broadly by disabling Automated Follow-ups for them.

How a customer can unsubscribe from receiving review requests

To unsubscribe from text message (SMS) review requests, a customer can reply to the request with these commands:

  • STOP
  • STOPALL
  • UNSUBSCRIBE
  • CANCEL
  • END
  • QUIT

*These must be typed in all caps or else the commands will not work.broadly82.png

Once a customer unsubscribes, this is how their contact will appear in Broadly.

Additionally, a customer can subscribe to messages again by replying with the following commands:

  • START
  • YES
  • UNSTOP

To unsubscribe from email review requests, the customer can find and click on a link that reads, "Unsubscribe from future emails". This is located at the bottom of the review request email.

  • If the customer unsubscribes from receiving review requests, they will no longer receive them via email or text.
  • In addition, if a customer unsubscribes via text, then they can no longer be reached via SMS text.
